Lesson 13: Turn Combo 1 - Alternating Turns
In this lesson, we will show you an exciting combo that combines the follower's right turn and leader's right turn. It's a wonderful way to spice up your first dance!
Don't Forget ...
Leader, bring your left hand down during the hand switch. That way, you don't "elbow" your partner during your turn!
Follower, make sure to keep doing the basic when your partner is turning.
Helpful tips
The hand switch can be a little tricky in the beginning. So, leader, practice your turn without the hand switch first. Once you get familiar with the pattern, you can incorporate the hand switch.
