First Dance Routine to “Beyond”

Intro ( 2 sets of 8)

Walk side by side (follower on left) x 4, switch places (5, 6, 7, 8)

Walk x 4, roll into face to face closed position

Dance Pattern 1 (8 sets of 8)

Side Basic (follower’s arms around leader’s neck)

Rotating Basic 

Follower’s right turn (arms up), Follower’s left turn (arms up)

Half basic to cradle

Roll out from cradle (1, 2, 3, 4) and roll into closed pos. (5, 6, 7, 8)

Circular dip (1, 2, 3, 4) (Follower’s arms out) and sways x 4 (5, 6, 7, 8)

Slow Fox Basic, Left Rock Turn (no rotation, relaxed dance hold)

Maypole Walk (1, 2, 3, 4), Double Outside Turn (5, 6, 7, 8)

Swing Pattern (Chorus)

Swing Basic x2 (rotate, leader end facing the back)

Waist Roll

Shadow (face front right corner) and Typewriter (finish in cross handed position)

Pretzel Peekaboo

Follower’s turn to left (1, 2, 3, 4)

Lean on leader’s left side (5, 6) and dance position (7, 8)

Dance Pattern 2 (5 sets of 8)

Slow Fox Basic, Left Rock Turn

Send Out, Inside Turn to Dip (5, 6, 7, 8)

Bring her up (1, 2, 3, 4) Sway x 4 (5, 6, 7, 8)
