First Dance Routine to “10,000 Hours”

Dance Demo (Wedding Version)

Intro (2 sets of 8)

Walk on to the dance floor for 8 counts

Follower’s right turn to side by side pos. (1, 2, 3, 4), Roll into cradle position (5, 6, 7, 8)

Dance Pattern 1 (2 sets of 8)

Basic x 1 in cradle position

Sway x 3 (LRL) to Follower’s double right turn towards guests (end in 2-hand hold)

Chorus (Salsa Section)

Salsa forward basic

Back basic 

Half forward to followers ½ right turn

Shoulder roll (leader: left and then right, follower: right to left)

“Fan” follower to right and then left 

Follower’s double turn to right to side by side pos (1&, 2&, 3, 4)

Spin into right leg up (5, 6) and pause (7, 8)

(Alternative: Corte and pause)

Right arm up (1, 2) lean (3, 4), right turn (5, 6) and dance position (7, 8)
