Learning the Steps
After learning all of the essential dance elements, you are now ready to learn the important steps in the choreography! After practicing the steps below, you can move on to the last section of the program, in which we will show you how to connect the steps. Have fun dancing!
Learning the Choreography
Now, let’s put all of the steps you’ve learned together into this lovely routine! To learn the routine, we suggest you learn it in sections. Practice each section without music first and then with music. Also, watch the demo video and use the written instruction listed below for musical cues. Have fun!

Intro -
Walk in together, leading bringing the follower in by their right hand
Follower keeps walking around, leader passes right hand to left behind back
Verse -
Leader face loop, face each other
Follower’s hand rests on leader’s chest
2 Left rock turns
Foxtrot basic
Promenade with outside turn
Promenade
2 Left rock turns
4 Walking steps in foxtrot timing
Leader turns under arm
Chorus -
Spin into helicopter, follower’s arm goes overhead
Lean in this position, leader brings arm up to follower’s hand
Another 4 walks downstage in foxtrot timing
Double spin to side by side
Infinity
Inside turn to smooth swing
2 Smooth swing basics
Leader’s wrap
Cradle
2 Boxes in cradle position
Unwind, follower steps back and then in towards leader
Follower tickles up leader’s chest and casts spell
Helicopter, both arms out
Highlight -
Spiral lift
Spin out, spin into frame
Circular dip for follower then leader
Regular dip with follower’s arm overhead
Outside turn back into frame
Repeat Verse until Promenade Spin, which becomes double spin in the chorus pattern
Add extra arm fan for both leader and follower, then continue into chorus
Ending -
Instead of helicopter at the end of the chorus, finish the tickle
Leader is “spellbound”, starts to fall back
Follower catches with right hand, bring leader up
Sink into dip
